1) He is not as much a physical threat as Boo, Earl, Dreamz, or even Yau Man, if you think about it.

2) Just like Jeff said at the end of the last episode, Alex could be on the outside looking in, or now the most popular guy on the island.

3) Earl and Yau Man currently hold all the power…… and the idol. They are the biggest threat to the rest of the competitors at this point in the game, and Alex will try to exploit that fact.

4) People may not like Alex , but this game is not a popularity contest, it’s a game of endurance, intelligence and survival. If that means joining the ‘dark side’, I mean Alex, so you are able to break the power alliance of Earl and Yau, it may make sense for other players.

5) He’s a lawyer…..which makes him a rat. When the ship is sinking follow the rats to higher ground. Who is going to follow him to the top 3!! We will have to wait and see Thursday night!
